Beyond building aircraft, this organization reaches out to introduce youth to aviation. Young Eagle rallies results in youth ages 8-17 gaining free flights. Some from this program are selected for national level aviation camps. Recently (2019), one of these 15 year olds was awarded a $10K grant to complete his pilot training. This as amateur aircraft homebuilders dream. Several aircraft are in stages of construction, and some are flying. Some planes come in for some modifications. Several experts on the field are available to assist. There is all kinds of equipment to make the job easier.
