My wife and I moved to Rome in April, and I was fortunate to find this organisation where the class is not too busy and learning is fun. I felt going to my lessons every Tuesday accelerated my assimilation into the society, because I met great people in the same position: adapting to a new language, culture and society. Nice forum that brings people together for meaningful discussion on Facebook - have gotten lots of help on different topics from other expat members. They put together a nice email that combines lots of timely event notifications and helpful articles. I appreciate the effort it takes to organize that type of information. However, we used one of the organization’s contractors for a paid service and it was an abysmal experience. They totally screwed up our immigration paperwork, leading to significant delays and added costs. They were rude and unprofessional. We requested a refund of money paid and did not get it. We also requested contact info for the person in charge of the organization and never got it. I do not plan to use any of their affiliates anymore as our trust was shattered.

Tonight was the second night we participated in the expat event at Patrizia’s place. I really enjoyed the whole experience. Great opportunity to meet interesting people. Patrizia is really welcoming and she and her crew prepare a delicious food.
