We have attempted to cancel our monthly donation for several months. We have tried multiple phone calls where we were assured that it would be cancelled. When that didn't work we cancelled the debit card associated with the account. When the transaction was denied due to the cancelled card, Environment California reached out to Visa, showed them the signed agreement my husband made when he originally set up the donation and got his new card number and processed the transaction. I can't believe that this is possible, that one isn't able to change their mind about a donation due to changes in financial well being or any other reason, it feels criminal.

I enjoyed my experience with Environment California. As person in my late 30s ; ) I was welcomed, trained and looked forward to community engagement. They have also accomplished a great deal like the Plastic bag Ban.
