Really enjoyed the experience! Would definitely go back; however, I think cover is a bit high for what you get considering the location and overall quality of the space. If there was a live DJ it would have been a different story. I went for Sunday Funday and figured it would be a bit more ambient. Great drinks, friendly and fun employees, and really great business concept! 10/10 would go back with the hope to change my rating from 4 to 5 stars.

This place is so cool and has a lot of potential, but the price is high for what is currently offered.

Cons:
1. The pool has no deep end.
2. There are no fans or lights in the cabanas or any of the areas really. They could easily add overhead fans or install mounted fans.
3. The bathrooms have no AC and no lights at night, had to use phone flash to pee in the pitch black and it’s super hot.
4. The furniture is not clean or comfortable.
5. The carafes are overfilled with more ice than they should, therefore less drinks.
6. They didn’t have any mocktails or non alcoholic drinks besides water and soda.
7. LOCATION! It’s in a run down area and I honestly didn’t feel the safest parking out back.
8. There was no poolside service, you stood in line at the bar and the lines were slow all night. Granted we were there for a special occasion party but the lines were slow and full the whole evening.

Pros:
1. Great ambience and aesthetic.
2. Cocktails tasted delicious.
3. Lots of space besides swimming, they had hammocks, private-ish reserved areas, lawn space, & lounge chairs.
4. They have nice showers.
5. I believe they had security and it was nice.

Overall, I feel the prices are too high for what is currently offered. I would return again for a special occasion or with a group, but probably wouldn’t come again just casually unless prices were lowered, or more amenities offered for the current price.

The first visit was fantastic the second visit was met with higher ticket prices and I think I got gipped on a drink price

My first trip my drinks were $12 or $14
I enjoyed them so well I bought two.

That same drink turned to$16 almost $17 with taxes so the bartender said and it was weak

I literally think they passed off a portion of another patrons unpaid tab to me as it. Was sitting on device unpaid.

Also the water was a bit more murky this go around as well.

I’ve patroned El Segundo twice this summer, and 3 times in the past 2 years and I’m giving a 2 star rating mainly due to the interactions and experience I have had with the man who checks tickets and IDs at the door. His demeanor is rude and aggressive. My friends and I did not choose to celebrate a birthday at El Segundo just to be talked down to. When we walked in as a group together and he asked to see our tickets, my friend took out her phone and began to explain that she had three of the tickets on her phone when he interrupted and said “No I did not ask you about the tickets, I asked if she (referring to one of the friends) is with you.” He said this in a very rude and condescending way. We literally just arrived and to be met with such condescension left a bad taste in all of our mouths. Not to mention that she was obviously a part of the group—we all walked in together talking and there were no other groups of people at the entrance. We did not pay good money (we bought a cabana by the pool as well as individual tickets) just to be talked to as if we are children. His rude behavior and constant hovering through out the day created a hostile atmosphere. We probably won’t be back.

Worst experience ever! We got there and was greeted by a gentleman by the name of Kel, he was very aggressive, trying to assert his dominance and power telling us not to kill the vibe. Which he is the one who killed the vibes. We mistakenly brought in outside alcohol, he saw and instead of just warning us about not having outside food or drinks which we would have completely understood and apologized, he decided to cuss us out and threatened to throw us out. He picked with us the entire time and even harassed part of our group that showed up late that had nothing to do with the situation cussed her out and was also aggressive with her. He made our experience very unenjoyable. The pool, scenery and drinks was great I love the ambiance but I will not be returning due to the front door guy Kel. Very unprofessional and he gives this beautiful place a bad look. We were wrong but we took accountability for our actions and we feel like the situation could have been handled differently. Beware of Kel!

Really loved the vibe and the fact there was no kids. We had a blast and the pool was clean with plenty of space and amazing drinks. Even had food trucks!

I came with friends and family. It’s a bit costly, from the limited cabanas to the drinks. Food is limited to some food trucks at a scheduled time. The atmosphere was nice and people were pleasant…

This local hidden gem could receive more stars if it were not for a few deficiencies and inconsistencies. For the cost of everything offered, I expected better.
1. The pitcher is overfilled with ice to decrease the amount of drink in the pitcher. It's so hot out that the drink is watered down so bad it's worthless.
2. For the price of the cabanas, one would expect furniture that was not broken, which needs to be replaced or repaired.
3. The pool was very cloudy
4. Upon our arrival, my group was told we couldn't bring in water. Only to watch a group come in later with 2 coolers with water and other beverages.
5. The first DJ was just mediocre (elevator type), nothing to write home about. The 2nd DJ was much better and really changed the whole vibe for the remainder of our stay.
