I would like to share my experience as a customer of the ENA event space rental. This is my 3rd time having an event at ENA and I've never been so dissatisfied in the space and in the staff. We rented out the space for a Saturday event and when we arrived the space was disgusting. We later found out that the space was rented out the day before to someone else who did not clean up after. After we had our event, we cleaned up any messes that were made by us and left the space in the condition in which we received it. Being that ENA has been renting this space out for years, you would think they would have certain systems in place to protect the terms of the rental agreement between each party renting out the space but they do not. No one comes after each weekend event to verify if the terms of the agreement were met by the party renting out the space and there is no one to call to notify of any mishaps during the weekend. So, when my mom arrived that Monday to return the key, her plan was to explain how we received the room. When she returned the key and began to mention what had occurred, she was met with a rude and dismissive demeanor by the secretary, Gail Shannon. She refused to hear anything she had to say, she was rude, turned her back on her, and proceeded to kick her out of her office. She then told us that she gave the party on Friday their security deposit back but we would not be getting ours back. Shocked, she waited to speak to the director, Tammy Taylor, who did listen and agree that their system is flawed in terms of failure to check the space after each rental, however, offered no resolution to the situation, nor did she adequately address how my mom was treated by Gail Shannon. Tammy then said Gail said we were the one's who were rude to her. After further complaints made by my mom, Tammy set up a meeting between my mom, Gail, and herself but other than a lackluster apology, nothing was resolved. It was even discovered that Gail didn't tell Tammy we were rude to her, Tammy said she was mistaken by telling us that. I'm writing this detailed review because there need to be some major changes made at ENA, especially with the staff and the handling of event space rentals. The space has not been updated at all over the years and not even minor repairs have been made. The floors are stained beyond belief, there are holes in doors and walls, the tables and chairs are worn, dirty, and faulty, the security cameras don't work, and with all of that, there is no one to call on the weekends in the event something goes wrong. With the money they receive from the city and sponsors, at least minor repairs should be made. We are so disappointed that we will definitely be pursuing this further so that this experience doesn't happen to another customer.

Went there to have my taxes done for free. I was the first one there. Got in right away. Didn't have a long wait and was in and out in no time. Parking lot isn't the greatest and you do have to be kibda careful in this neighborhood because there can be trouble sometimes in the neighborhood with drug dealing.
