They failed to report any payments made to the dept. Of education. I couldn't pay last year and they offset my taxes and didn't notify the dept of education that the offset paid my loan off. So this year the dept of education offset my taxes for the same loan. I other words i paid the same loan twice. I'm fighting it now but i wouldn't have to if they simply would've reported that the loan was paid off already.
