Not happy about the way they don't offer "ToGo" containers anymore forcing you to stay and eat there. Not able to take it with you so you can eat with the person you're with that couldn't make it.
They switched to dinner plates and silverware, creating more work for the shelter and or homeless. Small area for inside eating, picnic tables outside.
Don't see many clothes or food on the outside tables.
Food is usually good, housing vouchers aren't easy to get here.

I thank God every day for ECHO and the people who own and work there. If it wasn't for them I would be living in my car freezing to death. All the staff here are very respectful and always willing to help. Also, I'm so thankful for the food they supply and for the volunteers who bring us dinner every evening. It's so nice to get off work knowing I will have a warm safe place to eat and sleep. And last but not least, I'm thankful for my case worker who is helping me get housing among other useful help. If anyone could use their help, I encourage you to sign up on the waiting list as it is well worth it.

The women’s showers are filthy!!! Thank god i shower with my flip flops on but I pitty the women that go in barefooted. Today, I lost my balance while dressing and, as a result of that, I put my hand on the wall to balance myself, when I saw the filth that was in the grout lines on the walls, I just about threw up!!

From what I hear the men’s restroom is even absolutely worse than the women’s!! I know A man that literally will not shower here!

Oh, I offered Todd to let me clean the bathrooms for free and he said no that he’s got it covered.

I would like every volunteer and every staff member to go in, barefooted and naked and take a shower in the showers, I bet they would not have it for a minute. But yet they will let us homeless living this filth.

What I want to know the answer I want to this question is why is it OK for the homeless people to have to live in this filth? Why shouldn’t the homeless people have the same set of standards as every volunteer and staff member is able to have

They want to act like they’re helping and be so righteous about helping when they expect us to live in filth it’s not fair it’s not right I wonder what the news with think about this!!!!!

I had to stop by and get some questions answered. Richard and Staff made me feel welcomed. The place is clean and kept up on the outside. Told me I could stay for dinner since it was around that time. Has a donation table I believe anyone can get off of along with canned goods. Highly recommend those that have extra clothing, shoes and any extra canned goods to donate to such a WORTHY cause. Most likely go on their website or call ahead.
