I’ve been a member of the YMCA for a while now, and overall, I’ve really enjoyed the upgrades they’ve made to the facility. The new equipment is fantastic—modern, well-maintained, and a huge step up from what they had before. The pool is another highlight; it’s clean and perfect for both casual swims and lap sessions. The variety of programs they offer is also a big plus—there’s something for everyone. However, the cleanliness of the facility is a major letdown, especially for a place that emphasizes health and wellness. The locker rooms are consistently dirty—floors are grimy and it just feels neglected. The showers are particularly bad, with visible mold and a persistent funky smell that makes you question the hygiene standards. It’s disappointing because the rest of the experience is so solid, but this issue really detracts from the overall vibe. I hope the YMCA steps up their cleaning game to match the quality of their equipment and programs.

I’m deeply disappointed with this summer camp, especially given that it claims to be a faith-based environment. My child endured repeated bullying during his time here — including being physically assaulted, which left visible bruises. One particularly disturbing incident involved another child spitting in his face. Despite multiple concerns raised, the camp failed to take meaningful action to protect him or address the behavior appropriately. A faith-based camp should promote values like kindness, respect, and safety, but that was far from our experience. No child should be subjected to this kind of treatment, and no parent should have to worry about their child’s well-being in a place that is supposed to care for them. Also I was charged for an entire week of child care when my child only attended for 2 hours the entire week. When I contacted the director she never responded also you can not get through on the camp phone lines because they never answer .I cannot recommend this camp any family seeking a safe supportive environment for their child! Please read other reviews! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!

My daughter attended camp here and I will advise people to be careful as she endured about 2 weeks of bullying from 3 boys before anything was done. All that was done was they were switched as far as groups but she was even kicked by one of these boys and they were still there each and every day. Received a call back once but that was it. Got to the point the last week we just took the loss on the money we already paid and took her out. Would not recommend this camp.

Upstairs track is finished and it's nice, lots of windows and plenty of time during the day when it's no busy. Stay out of the heat, walk the track in the AC.
Infrared sauna has been our latest pleasure at our Y. They are not coed, there's one in each restroom, really great to sweat out toxins.
Brand new EVERYTHING! Super clean and spacious. New equipment is really, really nice. Staff has always been great. Heated pool. Infrared saunas in each restroom. Large fitness rooms. Spin room. Upper deck track. Big bonus, a fun slide from upstairs. Basketball, pickle ball, youth playgrounds and programs. The YMCA is continuing to do great community work.

I was planning to fill out the survey, but after thinking about my experience, I want to share it publicly. I’m honestly disappointed in the afterschool care. When I enrolled my child, I expected them to enjoy going, but from a parent’s perspective, I can no longer support this program. Like any kid, mine sometimes has behavior issues. Every time I’ve had the dis-pleasure of speaking with Lezzete, I feel talked down to as if I’m not the one paying for this program or don’t know how to parent my OWN child. Her tone is consistently rude and condescending. Another frustration is the constant disruptions to my workday. I expect to be able to work while my child is in YMCA care, but I’m frequently interrupted over minor incidents, like being told about tripping or getting a band-aid, where my child doesn't even have a mark. These could easily wait until pickup. My child also mentioned they did ā€œmeditationā€ during afterschool, which I don't understand the point. When I asked about devotion time, it seems as though this ā€œmeditationā€ is new-age and has replaced it. I feel as though has the YMCA was moved away from promoting it's Christian values completely. Over the past few months, I’ve noticed changes in the program that just don’t align with our family’s values. At this point, I’m certain this program this is no longer right for us. I felt as though it was important for me to share this for other families looking for child care in the area.

They will not allow anyone to buy a day pass if they do not know anybody already with a membership and it still costs 15$! Me personally I would never buy a gym membership (especially with as steep as YMCA) without first trying out the equipment. Very frustrated with driving all the way here wasting gas to get turned around at the door!
