This was my initial visit to the farm. I have been looking for a place to do volunteer work. This is the place. Staff and other volunteers were extremely friendly. The animals are well cared for. I look forward to "getting back in the saddle" after 8 years. I am going to start with some refresher riding lessons (have been in physical therapy). Being around the animals fills my soul.

I love this place. They do amazing work with the community and rescue horses in unique ways. I adopted a horse from this rescue and they were kind, considerate, through and very personable. Very worthy cause to donate to.

They ask and ask for donations, and offer services/things to make money but don’t follow through. They offered to hide Easter eggs as a fund raiser but never followed through to do it. They confirmed a date for a birthday party and then ghosted me until I gave up 2 weeks before (they still never contacted me to cancel, agree it wasn’t happening, OR EVEN APOLOGIZE for leading me on that my child could have her birthday party there. NOT ONE APOLOGY ABOUT THIS.
THEY emailed me and told me to call them and never answered their phone, returned voicemails, returned emails, and the ONLY time I got responses is when I commented on their Facebook post where they yet again, asked for donations. I got immediate responses there.
I wanted to have a party there to raise money for them, like they said they could do and they sent me the info and confirmed a date, and then I never heard from them again. I couldn’t get 2 mins on the phone. I called every day, some times twice. The whole thing could have been avoided with 2 mins to talk, but instead they acted super unprofessional.
AND Their social media person at one point FAKED an automated response after reading several of my messages and then after my last one suddenly had a ā€œresponse.ā€
And don’t even try to dispute this because I have the receipts… Screen shots, phone records, emails, all of it. You sent me the package options, said a date would work, that I could call, and then completely ghosted me.
And I’m not the only one that’s been ghosted… you failed to follow through with Easter hunts as promised as well. How hard is it to call someone back or acknowledge them? How do you do business Why did you know want my $1200 Makes no sense. Stop offering services if you can’t complete them.

I've been to other rescues that give an animal a place to stay and that's about it. This farm is an amazing ranch and the owners actually care about the animals they take in.
Whether it's spending a day with the kids teaching them about farm animals with hands on learning or if you're looking for a place to volunteer with great animals and awesome people to work with, this is the place for you.
