I called in regards to a friend and I talked to Harmony first she was very rude and very inconsiderate so I went on a website and made a complaint today another worker called me and was just blatantly disrespectful laughing like it was a joke and I really don't understand it I need to get ahold of corporate or someone that is above them because they think it's all fun and games when a person is battling mental health or whatever type of health problem there is they're not supposed to be rude why are they even in this field if they feel like they can't do their job right

Davis community meals saved my life not once but two times. When I was fleeing a domestic violence situation by a boyfriend I met at a job. After a few months of dating I realized he was absolutely insane by punching me in the face for no apparent reason honestly. Without much effort Miss Becky at Davis community meals took me and my 2 children at the time in from the domestic violence shelter and housed us. They did not require me to pay rent but I had to save my money to become independent to get on my feet. After walking away from just about everything for the safety of me and my children. Fast-forwarding to about 7 years later in another domestic violence situation this time with the father of my children and my husband at the time though no punches thrown but lots of verbal abuse and quite unhealthy for my children and I. I had to flee and after being denied section 8 because I supposedly made too much money as a last resort I called Davis Community Meals my angels. After a few conversations of holding me accountable for my part in the situation they took me and my children in. Because I was successful with the program requirements the last go around. They house us from June until January rent free allowing me to save my money, to get me and my children to a healthy state of mind through counsel with my lifesaver Harmony and Becky. They worked to get me Yolo housing and in a place of our own. I cannot not say one bad thing about the organization in fact they saved me and now my three sons a better life. They are truly life savers!

Davis community meals has discriminated against me not letting me get food go to activities or get housing help. Why do you delete the truth?
You can't delete something just because you don't like it.
You have refused to help me out I have asked for about a year now. You only help the people you like not all are welcome like you like to lie about. Still completely isolated because of them.

Davis Community Meals offers food, daily showers, and weekly laundry for the homeless community Mon-Fri (excepting holidays) between 08:00-12:00
They are able to assist with many other Food/Family/Clothing needs, and services. Call for more information.

They have been extremely helpful when we needed them. The new Paul's Place is so convenient, it's helps them help you.

Director has control issues in my opinion. Doesn't help people that need to get in and out so they can make appointments to get other resources and make progress on establishing themselves legally in the community.
