I am here because we needed to get off the streets and also a stepping stone was needed to get back On my feet. Regardless of how we ended up on the streets, the staff and people that stay here are respectful, understanding and caring...
The residents understand what the struggle people go through without a Roof over their heads and are willing to help out anyway they can.
I respectfully thank God for Leading us to the Dakota echo gardens withand now we can both Relax a little and have somewhere to lay our heads, so we can move on and do what we need to do to get on our feet. I think anybody that talks bad about this place is not grateful and do not understand the help they received or they took for granted all the help they received. it's not easy to get it in here and if you do then you should appreciate and thank the people here that open up their arms and their place To help out complete strangers to do what they need to do To move forward in their Positive journey of life.

Nice people, but dismissive to needs. They create too much difficulty with their many rules. Heater not always on at night in the main house, and too cold at night for mental health sleeping in the tents under the wood. They have weak WiFi that cuts in and out. They have meetings where they say a bunch of residents complain about other residents saying things that are not true. They are not friendly to young people as a bunch of old people. They do not take no for an answer, and they have a no noise rule. The Board ignores a lot, so a resident has to repeat things to them frequently. The $20 per month is not the best rate for the amount of trouble they give residents. I don't like this place, because of how they try to control residents. They make rules up as they go, and are not responsive as must as they can be.
