This place can have only bad reviews, because people come here with problems and impossible to solve all of them. But they trying))
Advices
1. Better to come, I called few times 90 min on phone, no answer. Calls don’t work.
2. Come morning, if you’ll come lunch time, you will stay in line minimum 1,5 hour.
3. Always ask name person whom you was talking, next visit you can say that this person did nothing and you need talk to her(him) or someone else
4. I didn’t do it, but you can try. If worker promised you something, try to take his phone number, to contact if nothing was done.
I’m from Ukraine, thanks to USA and California that supporting people from Ukraine 🇺🇦

The calling center never answers calls. I have been on hold for more than 2 hours and i end up hanging up because i dont get anybody to answer my call. This happens everytime i call its not a one time thing. They need to hire more representatives because its a county place of course alot of people are going to call for services. The office here in compton is so small and they dont have a parking lot for the building you have to look for parking on the street and you have to worry and find out street sweeping because you dont want to get a ticket while trying to get services. The line in the mornings is long always but i recommend not to go at the beginning or end of the month because it gets even more crowded. I dont know how many bad reviews they need to have until someone with authority notices everyones complaints about the workers here. Its not ok to treat people with such disrespect and carelessness. They need to shut this place down asaap

They don't offer much help. I came from out of state and everyone in the office treated me like I'd been there before sending me different places, using acronyms for things I'd never heard of, and ultimately I left with no benefits & uninformed of how to qualify. Waste of time.

Can't count on them. Not a reliable source of income diaper allowance not come through. You could have many bills to pay owe people turn in everything they ask for and they still stop your money. I'm lucky I saved money from last month or right now I would be screwed!

Waited on the phone for 40 mins & once I finally got on the line, the person asked for my social & then hung up. Is this a scam?

Mr Pam helped me but I’m still missing my first months issuance because I applied in January. Transaction was denied! My card is cancelled DPSS does not answer due to high call volume. Payment is not processed. Can't count on them. Not a reliable source of income diaper allowance not come through. You could have many bills to pay, owe people, have rent turn in everything they ask for and they still stop your money. I'm lucky I saved money from last month or right now I would be screwed! They are hooking people up with section 8 vouchers and my cash is on the verge of getting cut or sanction every month.

I wish they would evaluate there staff. The homeless workers are just there for a pay check. They have no intention on answering your questions or give you a clear understanding on how the process works. I have soo much emotional distress I feel victimized for asking them to please help me understand there process. When I kill myself I will leave a sucide letter and the workers name who helped everyone but me. I heard them tell everyone there hotel vouchers would be in by 5:00 and just because I asked a question that I didn't understand and asked them to please explain it to me theraly I got on her nerves. How sad that they abuse the power of authority

They changed my location to this one. The first time I came here they had a disability line. I came in today and stood behind a women with a cane because I assumed that she was standing in the disability line. After the security at the front called her in, they asked me “how can I help you?” I told them that I was standing in the disabled line. They told me that I don’t look like I have a disability. I told the men the last time I came here this was the line for the disabled. He was extremely rude and nasty to me and yelled at me “you don’t look like you have a disability to me!” I told him I do and he finally allowed me inside. Other customers inside waiting overhead the conversation because of the volume of his voice yelling at me while I was trying to gain clarity about the charges at the facility that I was unaware of and commented “she ain’t got no disability! She don’t look like nothins wrong wit her”. I was completely interrogated and harassed about my disability and felt pressured to disclose my personal health information only so I can be treated with respect and dignity like everyone else. I asked for the 2 security officers information and they refused to give it to me. They told me to google the company online.
