I didn't have family at this facility however I did have a friend. Her family was told they couldn't even visit her from a window,my friend wasn't in quarantine either said,that's not correct and I told the family they needed to speak to her attorney and start to plan to move her. And at that point this place decided they would let her family see her from a window. They had to be made to let someone visit their own family member through a d glass window from outside the building. SMH!
As far as family members reaching out to them to discuss anything my friends daughter made several attempts to reach the director of nursing and administrator and couldn't get through. Only when she threatened them with calling long term care did they do their job and reach out to HER.

PS I see your standard reply here below. During the pandemic in 2020/21 NO government guidelines prevented visits made through a window at a facility. Your folks just didn't want to be bothered, bottom line. It was fine once office of LTC got involved.

This facility is amazing. The staff makes sure I am up to date on everything that is going on with my dad. The nurses send me pictures and FaceTime me when he wants to see me. I will be forever thankful for this facility and the staff.

This place I once thought it was different but I was far from the truth.good cnas get treated poorly while bad cnas get treated great.good cnas and nurses quit or get fired bc they are tired of being mistreated.the one thing is no matter if u follow the rules or by law it will always take one to destroy ur selfasteam .they will not give u a chance to defend urself bc the bad out weighs the good.they want team work but in all honesty they don’t.im deeply hurt by how i was treated and when u do nothing but report the bad it backfires and slaps u in the face.they reword things to make u look bad so they look good.I strongly believe in karma and the way some and I mean some of there hard working staff gets treated they don’t deserve good ppl.now ppl can believe me or not,I don’t care bc I know the truth.places like this is why they can’t keep good ppl working there.nursing in a nursing home is not like it used to be.

My grandma is here and I have been so impressed with every single one of her nurses and the communication from the administration. They are always updating me on her progress. They make a huge effort to help her facetime me or do porch visits with us. They take good care of her and its a huge relief.

My grandmother stayed at this facility for 5 days of respit care. The first day she was there she fell within 5 hours of being dropped off because she was left unattended. As a fall risk and a memory care patient this was unacceptable. When picking her up and packing up her personal belongings, her clothes were filthy like she had been dressed in dirty clothes and her dirty clothes were thrown in the floor smelling of mildew from being wet. Her room was not appropriately clean. The whole facility just seems dirty when you walk in. There was no communication between the facility's staff and the hospice staff that regularly works with her. There was no Neuro documentation of her fall. The most off putting thing about her stay here, was when I visited at 9am they had all of the memory care patients sitting in a dark room watching a movie. Why would you take patients that are already confused from thier own afflictions and set them in a dark room shortly after waking up? The only redeeming part to her stay, was her Nurse Emily, was pleasant and tried to provide what information she could at the time of the fall.
