We are so blessed to have this in large enough to be almost like a regular grocery store. The prices are amazing and the cashiers and people helping are so sweet and kind. It’s truly a wonderful experience all the way around. Thank you guys so very much for just being you. God bless you.

The workers are great but the people who shop there aren’t so friendly. Usually good finds when I go shopping!

I experienced a very helpful, courteous staff member that was generous with food for my family. Also, the two genuinely caring individuals, Jessica & Maddie, from Community Action House were generous with their time as they helped my son & I schedule an appointment with the SoS and with financial assistance provided by CAH to pay for our new Michigan driver's licenses.

First their food club is absolutely awesome, but when I needed financial assistance I was referred to a program that they had there that was a last resort, I was in a last resort situation, I did everything in contact with every agency that could possibly help, did everything that was told of me, I met the qualifications for this program, just to have the woman named Tarah, completely waste my time and give me suggestions that I had already covered, she attempted to give me resources that I had already done, and gave me useless information, it makes me wonder for the program that she supposedly is helping that doesn't cost Community action house any money why is she being paid

Love these people! They have been the only supports and advocates I have found here in Holland. I chose to volunteer alongside so many other amazing people. They simply serve the community and the homeless with no judgment!

I have been a regular diner at the community action house soup kitchen from it’s inception. For the first time, in nearly thirty years, my dining privileges were suspended😵‍💫. It was alleged, by the undercover police/volunteers, that are now an ubiquitous presence in the kitchen, that I took a to go container, dumped out the food and replaced it with other food. There were two complainants, that verified this false assertion. I have witnesses that would affirm the fact that there has been a breakdown in communication. The surveillance cameras, with audio, in the dining area will also confirm my side of the story. It saddens me that there is now a climate of hyper antagonism, suspicion, and scrutiny that is a growing ethos now permeating a caste system within the greatest soup kitchen on the planet. This creeping divisive ideology is disconcerting. 🎼🎶
