Highly recommended! This place had a special "Juneteenth" celebration for families of all ages when we arrived. The trails are easy, though parts were a bit muddy from the recent rains. Many birds can be heard and seen, including several bobolinks and a mallard mother with her ducklings. Peaceful hike in nature.

Beautiful walks through a true bygone salt farm. Several foot paths to choose, a pleasant walk beside Great Salt Bay, explore the fresh water pond at the center of the meadow. There are even pop-up sledding parties when it snows! A birder's delight throughout the year. A real gem...

A great place to watch birds, or go for a quiet walk in nature. Nice trails with beautiful scenery and views of the Great Salt Bay where I have seen seals along with the birds at times! You may walk dogs here but they must be on a leash at all times.

A spectacular spot on the shores of the Damariscotta River's Great Salt Bay. Beautiful walk across the unspoiled meadows and through shoreline forests.
