This organization saves lives by advocating for best practices as evidenced by research. It’s a shame other folks in these reviews are so ignorant towards such an effort. San Francisco will always be a sanctuary city to the queers, the homeless, the undocumented - the heart of SF culture and why so many pay millions to live here; which is exactly how this homeless issue has been so exacerbated. Thank you for your service and commitment.

This 501(c) organization appears to be fraudulent. It seems like their executive director is primarily benefiting from what seems like a profit-driven approach within the homelessness sector.
While there are numerous programs aimed at assisting low-income individuals in purchasing homes or affording rent, it's disheartening to see that this particular organization seems to be more focused on protecting their own interests rather than genuinely helping those in need.

Very unresponsive staff and it seems like they are there to just collect paychecks. Was initially a fan of their organization but they have been utterly inafective and just exist to get paid. They need homeless people to exist to get more funding.. just there to waste money.

I would love to know where the president of this organization lives .I'm willing to bet it's not in the tenderloin.

This 501(c) is a scam. I’ve lived in the SFBay since summer ‘14. Their executive director just gets rich on the Homelessness Industrial Complex. I’ve rented my whole life and am priced out of my hometown and my home city of SF. there are a zillion programs to help low income folx buy a house / make rent, but this organization is a sham, protecting NIMBY interests!

No Elevator, just a very steep shallow staircase to get to their offices on the second floor.
Beware some of the "volunteers" are racists. When I went in to get some help to dismiss a citation for sleeping in the park at night. Because I had a job. My case was intentionally excluded by the "volunteer". So I had to pay the $500 fine.
When meeting this person, instead of listening to my case, he went off on a rant about his own issues, pretty much ignoring the.
I did everything required to comply with the requirements, within the time frame I was given. Yet my case was excluded from submission to the D.A. Office.
I cannot recommend this resource, it is 50/50 at best. Unless you're a white person, in which case you'll probably get preferential treatment.

corrupt leech organization. Promotes sidewalks blocked by thieving addict with encampments full of trash, used needles and stolen bikes. Shame on judge Donna Ryu for siding with this corrupt organization.

Edit: cheers to the Supreme Court. The hay days of the homeless industrial complex in S.F. are coming to an end.
