How unfortunate to live in the complaisant community of New Buffalo. Their citizens are checked out .. oblivious to the crooked cross/crucifix on top of Beer Church Brewery? What! Have your Beer Church. YET, PLEASE .. not with the symbol to so many who place Jesus on that cross. SHAME ON YOU FOR ALLOWING THIS! 😞

City notorious for making money from tourists! Was there on a Thursday during their Farmers Market and was ticketed along with three other cars. The nearest street sign that said you would need to move your car by 1pm was 150 feet away on a pole and no signs were posted at the lamp post nearest three cars ticketed. Went by City Hall to voice displeasure and their friendly response was "well you are lucky we didn't tow you"! For a city who depends on tourism you would think they would treat their visitors better!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the City of New Buffalo, and I must say, their level of unhelpfulness and incompetence left me thoroughly disappointed. It is disheartening to witness such a lack of professionalism and inefficiency in a public service institution.

First and foremost, their customer service was abysmal. Whenever I reached out for assistance or clarification, I was met with apathy and a complete disregard for my concerns. The staff members seemed disinterested and provided little to no guidance. It was evident that they lacked the necessary training and skills to effectively address the issues at hand.

Furthermore, the City of New Buffalo's inability to provide accurate and timely information was truly frustrating. Simple inquiries turned into prolonged and unnecessarily convoluted processes. It felt like they were either unprepared or unwilling to handle even the most basic requests. This level of incompetence is simply unacceptable.

In addition, their lack of organization and follow-through was evident throughout my interactions. Promised callbacks never materialized, and crucial documents were misplaced or overlooked. This not only wasted my time but also showcased a complete lack of attention to detail and accountability within the organization.

It is truly disheartening to witness a municipal institution that is supposed to serve the community exhibit such a blatant disregard for its responsibilities. The City of New Buffalo needs to take immediate steps to rectify its shortcomings and invest in the necessary training and resources to improve its services.

I strongly urge potential residents and visitors to approach any dealings with the City of New Buffalo with caution. Their unhelpfulness and incompetence have left a lasting negative impression on me, and I can only hope that my feedback encourages them to make the necessary changes.

Beware of parking tourists. This is definitely a revenue source for the city. They don’t mark all, (no parking) areas. Therefore, if you park, away from the city, with all the others thinking, “this is good, no signs of no parking,” you’re wrong. You will be ticketed and there is no real valid appeal process, you’ll just be told you’re wrong.

We went to indy for usbc nationals then north to New Buffalo for a few days could not had a better experience. From ol Missouri boy were coming back. Great people and sheer beauty. Amazing sunsets,watch parking but you'll be ok,were coming back

We’ve been coming to New Buffalo for over twenty years and have always enjoyed a clean beach and friendly staff in Village Hall. When we remodeled our house they were very helpful from start to finish.
