My non English speaking relative had asked me to call this establishment to inquire the application needed for the Medicare savings program. My first call was made on 7/11 around 12PM and the call was answered by a female staff who spoke Mandarin. She was very rude and reluctant to relay any information during this brief 3 minute conversation and had requested for me to call back next week as Mrs. Yang was on vacation. Today, 7/18, I called again on 12:40PM and the same staff answers the call. Again, I told her I was asked by her to call back this week to see if Mrs. Yang was available. She responded in a patronizing tone stating “of course she is available. What do you want from her”. I repeated my inquiry from last call and informed that my relative is oversea at this time and that is why I am the one calling. Her response again was extremely condescending. I told her if I knew the answer I wouldn’t be calling in the first place.
I never dealt with these service centers prior but their purpose is to provide answer and service to the underserved community but yet they have these staffs that doesn’t have the fundamental mannerisms and social skills. I will never recommend anyone to use their service.

Without even letting me finish the question I was asking, the receptionist started yelling at me complaining I'm asking the wrong question. She refuses to listen to my explaining what I needed to know then got mad at me even calling. I asked why her attitude was like this, and I pleaded for help from her as also a Chinese person to help me as a Chinese person in this country as a community, she hanged up on me.

The office is extremely unprofessional, especially Elaine makes it repeatedly offensive remarks for disabled individual. When complaint is made to her supervisor Rebecca, no action has been taken and Elaine continues with her irradical behavior. Do you have significant language and culture a barrier. In particular, Elaine cannot even understand a simple job description. They are in no position to assist disabled people and should not be given any funding
