Justin Palmer, what a rude human being. When they want your kid, there is nothing you can do to get them back. Justin Palmer tells me, " You're not getting your kid back lady! Get that!" he then slammed the phone down on me. Little over a year later, I was the first woman in Stanislaus County history to get my kid back from PERMANENT PLACEMENT. Dont stop fighting. Those are your kids. Don't take no for an answer.

Not for the bad reputation they already have however I called them to do welfare check for me since the mother of my kids ( elisia Hernandez-cartagena) took them away and cut off all communication like I did something horrible to them when in reality she's the one who don't deserve them .. she always got her first two kids taken for child neglect which I don't see how but was given an opportunity to get them back yet she didn't even try to get them back she abandoned them never said nothing just left the state. So when I call cps they said we will look into it if we think we need too. They advised me to call the Manteca police department to do a welfare check.

As an adult in ab12 and was in foster care I can tell you this was the best place and they have helped me tremendously. I loved all of my social workers they’ve went above and beyond to accommodate all my needs. I used to think the social didn’t do much because of how long things took to get done until I’ve actually sat there while awaiting placement, they are a lot busier than people think. Everyone was running around, filling out paperwork, taking phone calls, in meetings, etc. just like any other place of business they actually do what they need to do.

I'm not pleased with how they run things .. Un organized .. they get the county transportation to bring a child to and from and it's just anyone I don't like ..they dont work well with the foster families .. but bio parents can do what wver they want .. .. I'm disappointed in the service ..it's about the children ! If parents don't show interests then let the children be adopted by good families that can't children . The children deserve the best .. they deserve to be happy ...
And have a future .. not be in the system to wait for bio parents to get their act together cuz 9 times out of 10 they will never get their act together .. pray for the children

Worthless. No matter how many serious calls you make here about your kids, all they say is "we'll take this into consideration and look into it...."

But never do. Kids say nobody came out to investigate or ask them questions so I know after many serious "calls", they don't do anything. It's Stanislaus county, home of the broke and worthless....

but they'll demand child support and be on top of it! Worthless workers

CPS IS A JOKE!!!!! They are suppose to be there to protect children. All they are there is to collect a pay check. It takes a child to be severely injured or dead until they do something. How in the hell do these people get a job protecting children when all they do is sit on there ass and ask a few questions to the kids and the parent accused of abuse and take the abusers word. CPS Should be investigated. They wonder why the innocent children commit sucide. When one of these kids who reached out for help and CPS didn't do their job by doing a legitimate investigation ends up dead, I hope it haunts them for the rest of their life. This is why the real people protecting the kids don't take it for granted that law inforcement is going to help and they take care of it themselves. Again thanks for all your help CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES...way to go.

While the first contact with cps however unpleasant the situation was that lead them to knock on my door was, the social worker who came treated me and the situation with dignity and respect. The subsequent contacts with the following older women were absolutely prejudicial and inappropriate at times. With one, I was literally harassed and bombarded with two separate workers to receive "services" and later bullied by one to sign a contract. As in, the worker sat on my couch and refused to leave my home until it was signed, despite the fact that the contract was supposedly "voluntary". Further an another contact by another older worker was met with near hostility and threats of their ability to remove my children.. (please note an initial contact was with a supervisor who clearly stated that despite the public opinion of cps they were not about removing children but rather keeping children safe in their home), upon receipt of the records of the last contact, (you have to petition the court at the juvenile hall fyi) the worker unethically misconstrued several statements and failed to report several contacts made via phone, and stated to the father of my child, that if cps were to remove my children by means of him making a complaint, its would be obvious that they would be placed with their father. She equally closed my case given the lack of evidence, "substantiated" the claim without sufficient evidence, and will hopefully hear from her supervisor after I make a formal complaint. Its never a positive thing dealing with child protective services, but the unethical, and abuse of power that was given makes them incapable in my opinion to remember what their job was in the first place. As one supervisor told me, workers are still people, some are good and some are bad. But maybe if I ever do come across any again, I'll be sure to remind them that unlike some of their other cases, I'm not only surrounded by mandated reporters myself, but am in the wait list for a county job that requires me to mandate report.

(Cheryl,Cabero) Has a very bad anger management problem especially in the court room and she love to lie.
(Mayra,Padilla, De Luna) social worker IV, Q7P
When we would talk to her on the phone she would start to have a attitude problem over the phone when I told her to call me when she has a better attitude and can talk to me like a real professional she got mad and hung up on me but then when I have court she doesn't even want to engage and talk to us before court or even after.
And as far as there supervisor
(Phil Reilly) social work supervisor

Use to be nice and caring and very understanding but in December he has changed he even cursed at us on the phone that he will send the presents to our kids but later I found out that he never did so well what the hell did he do with the presents for our kids $200.00 dollars down the darn drain this place really needs to be investigated
