Due to my CO Parent leaving our children numerous times, for extended periods of time, then coming back, we had to go here. Minimum of 12 visits. During these visits, my go parent was able to tell my children to lie to myself and my partner about school related situations. Our WATCHER wasn't present. Amy. However Ruth was close in an office and heard. This was October. Until pressed at the turn of the year, no one had confirmed that. Co parent is allowed to take pictures that she uses to taunt and harass my partner. After 4 months I find out they never had the orderto begin with. We were operating on safe exchange rules. The last 3 visits CO Parent has harassed me. Even leaving early against rules to harass new sooner. Paula, the director of cfs.... I was told should have called by now. She hasn't. Case managerJustin told me all communication was to go through Paula 3 weeks ago. Yet he continues to call and harass me. Where are you Paula?

This organization is absolutely amazing! The people here truly care about helping children and families walk through difficult times while also supporting them through these tough transitions. It is not easy to be there 24/7 to support, sometimes very difficult emotional and traumatic experiences but THEY are… They are there without judgment and with nothing but genuine and sincere love and care for those in need. Thank you for all you do everyday to help those who call Northern Michigan their home. You are a very important part of supporting those in need!

I cannot put into word show awful this establishment is. Clear conflict of interests at hand as a locally practicing divorce lawyer Lauren Pfeil sits on the board of this establishment. Autumn the director is a liar as she allowed for children to be dropped off when the other party was not preset. its clear the other negative reviews speak for themselves, very sad that this business has operated for as long as it has and negatively impacted people/children the way it has.

I thought I was recieving great help from the 3rd level crisis Free Legal Aid Clinic services.. but instead of being straightforward with me while I was there I got told one thing.. and then another. Not only am I about to loose a very important court case because I have no attorney and no money but something that not only affects me, but also my S/O and my young son.. for the first time at 20 years old I am actually afraid of becoming homeless because people can't correctly do their jobs. I was going to put a good review because everyone was so nice, but then I was shown its all an act and that I was never going to receive the help I needed in my time of need. Very disappointed.

It is very sad what this company has done with my oldest....Very huge life impacting decisions made based off of a snapshot into the lives of the effected by people with very little life experience of their own. Sides were taken and biases created. It's hard to believe that a two year degree or less qualifies as enough to pass judgements,changing lives of many far too often for the worse.

Child and Family is by far the best Agency to work with! They offer so many different services to their families, foster families and adoptive families. Often going above and beyond to support us. They work hard to meet the needs of families, the mentally ill, impoverished and neglected/abused children and families. I highly recommend them!

Loosely ran. Have a hard time answering the phone. Also called (multiple times) over 13 months ago to try and get some classes under my belt that they do infact offer. Needless to say I'm still waiting on a return call from one of my few calls.
