I am grateful to have switched to Charles Schwab. Irina Podmolska, their financial consultant, has been incredibly patient with me. I am new in investing and one of the first women in my family to do so. Irina has explained everything to me step by step. The fees in Charles Schwab are lower than my previous bank. Appointments. It has been very easy booking appointments. This particular branch’s location is of course also quite convenient.

Very disappointed that they don't return calls to set up appointments to go over retirement plans. I am a veteran and that didn't seem to matter, nor was the amount of money we proposed investing. My wife called and left message with a body. I called the next day and again spoke with somebody that's not actually at the location but answers for them. I explained they didn't call my wife back, and asked for a call. They never called me either. Basically, I don't know how much money they want to pay attention to you.

I went to get help with a VERY old account that was set up by a family member in 1993. Louisa at the front desk worked with me for about an hour to get me online access. She was amazing! Patient, answered all my questions, knowledgeable about policies and procedures, and did all the talking on the phone when I needed to contact support. Thank you Louisa for all your help! Customer service was an A+

Honestly, I did not expect to have a positive experience here. The online experience dealing with this company has been wretched. The UI is unusable. Finding anything on the site is next to impossible.

No big surprise that neither the telephone customer service, nor the person at the front of this branch was able to help.

And to add insult to injury the staff here spent more time and effort policing some guy trying to score a free cup of coffee than trying to help me find a solution. "Oh my GAWD, sir! There is no one here who can help you with that!" wailed the exasperated Schwab employee at the desk.

Utterly ridiculous.

I didn't get my money back when I closed the account. After multiple calls it turns out that "they cannot return the money because the account is already closed" and that "to solve the matter you will have to open a new account". ?!?!
