Awesome venue to rent for all occasions. You can rent their private facility Friday evening - Sunday. Amazing and helpful staff. Convenient to freeways. The venue books at least 4-5 months in advance. I had my sister's baby shower here and it was perfect. Highly recommended for all types of events.

Great Senior Center community with various events, trips, lessons, volunteers, partnerships and an Intergenerational Program with a local school nearby. The professional warm staff to help seniors. And the lunch program.

Beautiful bldg. Very spacious. People very friendly. Celebrated BLACK HISTORY with a diverse group of people. They offer many amenities including an up-to-date gym

Tonight was a debut performance by a friend of the family named "Adam Jones". He was fantastic with his Luther Vandross sound. He can hold his own along with his outstanding band. Great vocals and instruments. Hope to see them around soon ?

Enjoy karaoke with Max & Jake on 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of month, great group of people to relax with. Location also has a lot of history associated with it plus a statue of Pat Nixon and related displays inside lobby.

The center has many activities you'll never be bored the staff is super friendly and helpful. Lots of parking and over all a really nice place to spend a big part if your day.

Here at the center, seniors have the resources they need to remain active, keep their minds sharp &, most importantly, stay socially engaged. A deluge of daily classes are offered, including line dancing, tai chi, hula & mobility courses. A fitness center, for a nominal monthly membership fee, is well equipped with gym equipment to improve muscle tone & increase cardiovascular health. Feeling like sinking an eight ball in the corner pocket? Billiard tables (pool tables to us Yankees) are ready & waiting for seniors to hustle other seniors out of their Social Security money.

Another great feature of the Senior Center are the low cost meals. Seniors can have wholesome, hot meals prepared for them, with a pre-set monthly menu schedule. This is a great way to ensure everyone is getting their recommended daily caloric intake, while in a social setting.

Seasonal activities include health fairs, craft fairs & social dances. Some are complimentary, others have a small charge. The Cerritos Senior Center is open for special events, like weddings & birthday parties. The landscaped grounds are well manicured and have a great layout for entertaining guests, interspersed with koi ponds & beautiful landscaping.

Apropros for our recent weather, when the temperature goes through the roof during our hot summer months, the Cerritos Senior Center acts as a cooling center to beat the heat. The youngsters have the mall & the movie theater, seniors enjoy the free a/c at the Senior Center.

Pat Nixon, the former first lady & wife of the late Richard Nixon, was born on the grounds and lived in Cerritos. A statue of her amongst a rose garden is proudly displayed on the side facing South Street.

Parking is in a private lot, with extra parking around the residential areas. Be mindful of street sweeping days, so as not to get ticketed.

The Cerritos Senior Center is a great resource for senior citizens to take advantage of who want to not just live, but thrive, in their golden years. Other cities don't have the resources to provide the same level of quality for their aging community, so I'm glad Cerritos makes sure to take care of theirs. If I am fortunate enough to live long enough & reside in the city I've lived in almost all of my waking years, then you can ascertain that I'd be a regular face at the Senior Center, enjoying classes & perhaps hitting on a hot momma who recently became eligible for Social Security ;p
