Many books including different languages (Chinese, Korean, Japanese) great children place well decorated. I like the fish tank and dinosaur 🦖. Great library. You need to be resident or work in Cerritos to borrow books and use their internet, but you can still access if you are not.

This is one of the best libraries I ever visited. Kids would love it. They have aquarium, space shuttle displays, also a virtual reality green screen. Must visit.

A unique and immersive reading experience for kids. A lot of amazing programs to encourage kids to read more (pay fines by reading more is a great example). The building is constructed well and makes people curious and engage. This is an amazing library!!! There's also a small sculpture garden and two fountains in the same area. To note: if you need to use their wifi or computers you must get a library card or ask for a guest pass. The book store hours are limited, but they have great stock. There's a small art gallery next to the used book store. Also, tucked into an area by the elevators in the first floor study area is a small exhibit. It had a Funko display when I was there. Lots of spaces to read, quiet study areas, private quiet rooms to reserve, movie nights, amazing children's room!!! And the art & architecture are fantastic. I drove from Huntington Beach and wasn't disappointed. Also, it's centrally located so it's easy to get to and from whatever else you might be doing.

My baby and I had a great time in the children’s section of Cerritos Library. Everything was clean, books are organized by author, there are other language books like: Spanish, Korean, and others. My son and I enjoyed our time here and plan to return in the future. This library is huge! Everyone keeps the place looking nice, clean, dust free and organized!

The library was absolutely amazing, which offers an extensive collection of physical and digital resources, museum-quality exhibitions and exciting collections of art work.

The award winning Cerritos Library is the world’s first “Experience Library” incorporating themed space to stimulate patron’s imagination.

It has 3 floors, first floor is called the Main Street, 2nd floor is called 21st Century, 3rd floor is the conference center. The place is worth visiting. Highly recommended!

Note: Unless you are a Cerritos resident, you cannot use this library. The Cerritos Library card is available without charge to anyone who: lives in Cerritos or owns property in Cerritos.

An absolutely amazing Library! No, we did not have a library card for this gem of a Public Library, however, it is worth visiting just to see! The Children's Library is amazing: they have a huge fish tank, a massive tree in the middle of the library, a dinosaur skeleton, a rocket, etc. What an amazing place to get kids into reading & learning!
The adult section has a good selection of books, newspapers, reading rooms, etc. All in all, a great library!

It's fun to visit the Cerritos Library and I love how amazing the inside is with lots of wide open spaces! I can get inspired to write and illustrate my own children's stories under my company named Once A Butterfly.
