No emergency service. Friendly and relaxing environment. Hard to find and a month long wait for services. Have to walk in for best results. Only way I was able to schedule an appointment.

Do NOT come here if your homeless. They Do NOT Care!!
I made an intake appointment a month or more in advance. Called my worker Maria Alcatar several times the last 2 weeks before my appointment no response. Left several messages and no call back, no acknowledgement NOTHING...
Tried to call and email the person who did my forms Navarrete even she refused to contact me.

Today was my appointment and the worker still didn't want to answer her phone...
Over 20 minutes past my appointment time..
Left messages again no response..

Talked to a person who claimed to be the supervisor but he was extremely rude and kept cutting me off and interrupting me and had the audacity to play it off like it was actually ok.
Caused me a panic attack..
First he said the worker was running late and was going to call me in the next minute.
Then calls me back in 5-10 minutes later and tells me my worker was now going on lunch...
Like what the hell?
And told me that the worker had every right to not contact me...
Then proceed to tell me to wait another 10-15 minutes now over an hour over my scheduled time...
I waited....
Called the worker again 4 times and still no response and left messages...

My appointment had a scheduled time and date in advance but yet she never called me for the phone appointment. Supervisor refused to set me with a new worker. Refused to talk to me like I was a human being.
And no one wants to communicate with me...

I know we're homeless but we are still human beings...

CCCIL does not care
CCCIL is now just like all the other programs that act like they care and say they are the solution
When clearly they are definitely part of the problem...
No wonder the homeless are stuck in their situation...
No one actually wants to help..
They just say or act like they do..

Truly disappointed..

Manager Jorge needs to streamline the process of getting application fees done expeditiously. Also, case workers need to advocate on behalf of their clients and establish rapport with Property Mangers so their clients can be seen as older or disabled human beings in need of advocacy, so they can succeed!!

They are a nonprofit, I believe govt funded, to assist people on SSDI/SSI disability with housing. They can provide resources for low income/senior & disabled housing references, as well as some financial assistance to secure housing for those who qualify.

They were very friendly and helpful, and and were able to make me an appointment for just a couple weeks after calling the 1st time and inquiring about their services.

Would have been a 5 star, but there were a few minor issues. • the person that I had an appointment with was unavailable w no reason given & had to wait at least 20 min in lobby area for them to figure out someone to assist me, and there were 0 other clients there. Also, I could see the screens of 3 staff while waiting, and none of them did anything that whole time - just staring at blank/minimal screens. The receptionist was making personal calls the whole time I was waiting, talking about what she was about to buy on Amazon. Lastly, some of the information and applications they gave me were grossly outdated, and thus, incorrect. So, it seemed like it was not very cost effective at all

However, thru their resources, I did find a great fit for me for an affordable studio that I am currently on the wait list for.

I have been attempting to contact this organization for 5 weeks. I have placed multiple phone calls and left messages and emails to the contacts listed on their website and even sent the head administrator an email. I have not heard back from anyone regarding help for a person with a TBI.
