Let me start by saying I am an advocate for helping to save others. Having said that, I was contacted 6 hours after my mother passed and asked an hour's worth of questions. I was assured, given the nature of her death, they would only do skin graph and possibly a sample of her heart valve. I was also assured they would confirm when her body was delivered to the funeral home. Let me say they are so nice until they get what they want. I got no confirmation of the delivery of her to the funeral home and they took much more than they indicated. Misleading vulnerable people who are willing to help others is abhorrent. I had to provide some possible distinguishing markings or features for funeral home to confirm identity. They also did not provide ME with what they actually took. Once they get your agreement they follow through with nothing they say.

All the staff are very caring. I met my son's heart recipient for the first time and it was an amazing experience. I miss my son but to see the lives he's changed helps a lot

My family and I unfortunately had to make an end of life decision for my brother. As a family we made a decision on what we were going to do with his organs once his life was over and tried to express to them our factual reasoning as to why my brother was not capable of making the decision on whether or not he should be an organ donor on his identification card. The CORE employee, Connor, literally tried to give us a sales pitch and showed no genuine compassion for the decisions that we were faced with. Several times he told us that they were taking his organs regardless of what our wishes as a family were and viewed my baby brother and his lifeless body as nothing but an organ and I’m sure money in his pockets. Now we have to watch my brother suffer so that they can get a surgical team in to harvest my brothers organs once we can finally take him off life support when we should have stopped his suffering several hours ago. I can only hope that the individuals that treated us the way they did today never have to experience what my family and I are experiencing now. Shame on you CORE. I will continue to spread awareness on this issue and will no longer chose to be an organ donor on my license as it seems as though it’s a binding contract.

I do deliveries for these guys. The people there seem to be nice. It seems like it's a good thing that they do there. So this time it was a liver that I delivered. And this is a good thing
