I found their facility through Google and decided to file my taxes and immigration papers at their Sunnyside, Brooklyn location. I did my tax return, it was okay. But after that I needed help with online pay, I was waiting for 2hours and they didn’t help me!!! I couldn’t call them a lot of times they didn’t reply me!!!! So stupid system!!!

I came to know about the free Self-Employment Tax Preparation Program of the NYC mayor Adam for the small business owners and self-employed individuals. I am a US citizen and came to the United States for the first-time last year. I worked as self-employed individual last year, and I live in Pennsylvania. The private accountant was asking me too much for filing my taxes, then I decided to go to NYC and see if I can file my taxes for free. I found out the Center for Family Life is providing these services. I made an appointment and came all the way to Brooklyn. The staff at the front desk was amazing. The staff at the tax department were very professional and friendly. They educated me on all aspects of my tax filing and made tax filing fun for me. I saved all my money which the private accountant was asking me as fee for filing my taxes and with that money I travelled around the New York City and enjoyed my whole day had fun and amazing food.
