I am appalled that Bishop Hurley has removed Father Dwyer as the priest where he has successfully grown participation by young people through the reintroduction of a more traditional form of worship. All of the changes were orthodox and in accord with church teaching. This is both beyond belief and beyond disgusting.

Please reinstate this precious priest and allow him to continue his wonderful work.

I enjoy watching TV Mass but don't like that they black out communion and all you hear is the cantor. Don't get the full experience of attending Mass.

A priest wanted to take one (1!) weekend Mass and make it more reverent by implementing Catholic things like the proper use of Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, a smattering of Latin prayers, candles at the altar, etc. A vocal minority complained to the diocese, and now the priest has been removed. And all over America, real liturgical abuses and banal liturgies abound with nary a thing done about it.
