The organization does help. I needed help and they gave it to me. What causes the 3 stars is how I was told the program ended.My case manager didn't call. I get a form letter. No exit interview, nothing but a letter. Plus, I am only given a month to figure out how to pay my rent and other bills. That needs to change. They had to know my time was up. Why not at least talk to me?

Not helpful at all. They have a "rapid re-housing" program to help the homeless get off the streets but you only qualify if you have no income or very low income. No landlord will rent to anyone without proof of income in the amount of $1800-$2000 per month - even if the renter is going through CACS for rental assistance. If you even start working, you no longer qualify. What's the point? I suppose the housing crisis in Owosso is primarily to blame. CACS is partially to blame because the service is useless. If you need help, you'll just have to stay homeless, find a job, and go through DHS for deposit and first months rent once you have proof of income.
