I took their very first Homeowners workshop back in March and it was fantastic! They were very thorough, provided a great meal, and their speakers were very passionate about the work they did, which made the 8-hour course really fun! Their speakers were amazing! I hired the home-inspector who presented to do my home inspection. And I would have gone with the real estate agent who presented too, but I already had my agent 🙂 However, she did connect me with the mortgage company I ended up working with to finance my home, and they were able to get me a bunch of downpayment assistance! All in all, I'm really glad I started out my homeownership journey with CAPI.

I called capi to connect new Afghan family for rent support. The lady who answered my phone number give me contact for case workers razee and meena when I called they ask about race and language of the family and I told them , they speak pashtoon then they says that their program help hazree and Daree people not others. I am very destasified asking me about their race ethnicities it's disrespectful for refugees.

I am not surprise. I thought I was the only one who was treated unfairly there at the food shelf. It's too bad that this guy don't understand how shameful it is for someone to go to the food shelf. I have been going there almost a year and so far I have never receive a single pack of meat no matter which day or time of the month. He always said there is never meat at the food shelf even though I can see the meat pack and full in the freezer when he open the freezer thinking no one was there seeing it.
Then I started asking some of the people who I met there and most of them said they didn't get meat either.

This is what I get so far for June and July.

Family of 5

June 2016.

1 bag of 15lbs of rice.
4 cans of good.
1 bag of limes.
1 bag or rotten purple onions.
2 bags of lettuce.
1 peanut butter.
2 spaghetti noodles

July 20016

1 bag of 15lbs rice.
4 packs of ok spinach.
4 cans of mixed fruits.
1 quarter gallon milk.
2 cans coconut milk.
1 silver thread noodle.
4 packs of strawberries.
3 little cans of tuna.

( I never get any meat since i went there. I did see the food shelf has fish and ground meat and he didn't give me any either).

Anyway, I hope CAPI management will help look into it and make sure everyone is being treated fairly and equally.
If CAPI ask all the food participants there then CAPI will know the truth.

CAPI is a good program. Only problem is the FOODSHELF.
The GUY who is in charge of the Food shelf is Very Corrupted.

I been going there and have been observing how he distributed food.
He never allow anyone touch the food.
He will decided who should get what.
Mainly he gave all the Good food, especially MEAT and Fish
to his Friends, Families, and Relatives only.
