So, I am 51 years old now, sitting at my desk in Orange County, California and started singing P-A-WAPI-PA-WA-PI-PI , don't know if they sing that any more there, but it got me wondering. Does this camp still exist 40+ years later?

It was easy to look up since I knew the song and obviously, since it's stuck with me all these years this camp only brings back good memories.

I don't know if the YMCA was in charge of it back then, but I looked at the pictures and outside of the Rock-Climbing Walls and Zip Lines, it doesn't look like it has changed much.

The archery field and canoeing look just like I remembered it when I was kid. If the staff is still as good as it was in the 70's/80's, this place is wonderful!

My kids have been going for several weeks and they LOVE it. The camp staff are amazing and really enhance the experience. They also serve as good role models for the kids. Canoeing, archery, rock climbing, fire building, zip lining, nature walks, swimming, arts and crafts, skits... it's a blast!

Not enough staff for classroom trips. Extremely disappointed, my daughter couldn't do a canoe ride for the first time because there wasn't enough people to show them what to do, they never even left the dock!😡😡

I must admit this might not be the most useful review, but I had a blast when my parents took me there in the summer of 1998. I'm glad it's still going strong 20 years later. Cheers from Spain, I'll never forget my time spent there!
