Lovely mid-sized church. First visit today but they welcome me. They have coffee and donuts and you may just want a small donation like $1. They use this facilities for school during weekdays. The church is location next to a community park!

This church is great, one session and I am hooked. I attended a few other Calvary Churches and this one was true to its name. Don’t believe me go and see for your self.
The worship had goosebumps down my arms the entire time. And the pastors where so friendly and the people here are so nice. Thank God for calling me to this place.

Wow, lots to love about this place. Truly a home.
*Verse by verse teaching through the entire Bible. Emphasizing the inerrant Word of God. Experienced and knowledgeable Pastoral/Teaching staff led by Pastor Phil Metzger, who loves to engage with everyone after services.
*Worship by musicians whose music draws you in to worship Jesus with an overflowing heart of adoration and praise.
*Secure Child Care with teachers who sincerely love children, desire to teach about Jesus, & care about leaving parents anxiety-free.
*Numerous ministries and Missions opportunities.
*Fellowship where many linger well past the end of services while enjoying each other's company, indulging in the delicious offerings from the food ministry, and allowing their children to play in the safe, protected playground.

I love this place! Many years ago, we were serving at another church and something occurred that we could not look past or continue to serve being aware of it. We went to EVERY major church and other community ones in San Diego county. Many tried too hard to "recruit" us. Others just didn't feel right, but when we arrived at Calvary SD, there was a welcoming peace and so much activity for the kids and adults alike...

No pressure or frowning attitudes, just nice welcoming folks and great Bible Teachings too. If you want to do more, they have various classes, Mens Ministry, Women's ministry, Espanol Ministry, Children's Ministry and all kinds of opportunities to serve too. Lots of great food too!

Come join us. You will be eternally glad you did...

This church I do love. When I move I want to find a church like this one. It has everything, good people, great pastor, great message, great child care, great community involvement, great bible groups, good music, you name it I love them.
