I found out about this nonprofit when I hired Kiera Rain of Bay Area Professional Organizer Co. Her proceeds go to the nonprofit, so it was a 100% tax write-off for me to hire her! Win-Win! I’ve lived in the Bay Area my whole life so I love supporting my local nonprofits. Kiera has taught me a lot about brain issues on top of getting my whole house de-cluttered, organized, and ready to sell/move! It’s been a very enlightening experience. We need the campuses she’s envisioning. I’m happy to support California BrainWaves!

After almost 40 years of evaluating visual processing, I can pick out a visionary. Kiera Rain is definitely a woman with a clear purpose in life. Her brainchild, California Brainwaves, is currently an idea, but her gusto and dedication should transform that idea into reality, providing people with brain and developmental disabilities a place to be themselves.

My vision, the Mind-Eye Connection, began in a garage and has now become known worldwide for its innovative application of neuroscience, connecting optometry with new neuroscience to help people be more comfortable with visual processing. Kiera's idea has the same potential. She is creating something equivalent to what St. Jude's is for cancer patients, except hers is for people with brain and developmental disabilities.
