"As a Military Combat Veteran who has not only seen the lack of resources or non-attainable assistance for those in need but the disrespect for the homeless population, Building Up Lives Foundation was the 'only' place to offer Immediate Assistance. The US Vets among many other organizations have tremendously failed all Veterans in need. No housing and no food assistance is an absolute disgrace for those who served their country. As a reseller i can say the owners of this place are good people that want to do well for their business and the local community. It's a nice store and it's jam packed full of all kinds of items. I think they need to sort pricing and organizing out with some items to make it more customer friendly (for the average buyer, reseller, and collector). (it is labeled as a thrift store afterall so anyone would expect prices that compete with other thrift stores 👍). But overall good place. I'll come back for sure. Shoutout to Alberto he is a good dude.

I have had the blessing of being able to deliver for Julie to a person in need and it is just wonderful. The help Julie provides and the way people gather in the community to help each other is great. Julie makes giving easy. Aside from being able to help with food, clothes, or necessities; she has information on different resources that people have access to.

If you are looking to resale items you find at a thrift stores don't bother stopping here, they don't advertise prices and once when you bring up your stuff they look up your products and sells it to you for ebay prices. Pretty much you do the work of finding what valuable and they resell it online what you don't buy.

I came within the posted hours. It looked abandoned. Not sure if they're still open for business.
