We had a great time at Building for Kids. Two stories filled with different rooms and stations of learning themes. Our favorites were the rope treehouse, heart slide, outer space room, and kitchen/store, but the ball gadget room, airplane, fire truck, water room, and bank activities were cool, too. Neat french toast activity put on by the staff that was educational and tasty.

GREAT MORNING OUTING OR ROAD TRIP STOP
Great children's museum with many learning activity & craft stations including a really well designed water play room. Large open areas where your kids can just be themselves. Relaxed environment and happy clean kid-friendly restrooms. Best for kids ages 3 to 8. FREE ADMISSION for ASTC museum passport holders. Have fun!

Great space in Appleton. Went with a large group. The day we attended admission was a donation. Not crowded. There is plenty of room to move around without bumping into others. There are a lot of play stations and bathrooms. Would definitely return.

It's what a kids mansion would look like. They have activities for all ages and interests. I hope that in the future they will have food for purchase because we stay here on average 3 hours. Thank you for creating a place not only for entertainment but to grow the mind.

The place is absolutely amazing and there is so much to for kids. The only thing I wish would change is that if they allow people to bring in food that they aren't allowed to carry it throughout the whole place cause it can be severely dangerous for a child like my daughter who has a peanut allergy or any child that has a certain food allergy. Food should only be allowed in one area and stay in that area. It ruins the whole experience for the kids that has food allergies

My family have been members since 2016. We absolutely love it. The staff is amazing, it’s clean, and they are constantly switching things up. They recently started a program for 3 and 4 year olds that has been absolutely amazing for my 3 year old. I could talk forever about how amazing this place is. Thank you for everything you do!

So much to do & explore at this children’s museum! Admission is $11/person. They also have discounted access passes if you meet the criteria. (Unemployment, reduced lunches, etc. Full list is on their website!) For parking, I highly recommend the parking garage adjacent from the museum. (There’s currently a lot of construction on the street, broken meters, closest free parking is far up street, etc.) Parking fee is $3 for 4 hours or less. They take cash or card at the kiosk!

Over priced. It's marketed as a children's museum, but it's honestly more of a mediocre indoor playground. I'd say about 60% of the "interactive displays" weren't functioning, just buttons that did nothing. There is little to no informational displays, no real exhibits, and everything seemed rather poorly maintained.
