My mom was here for a short time, but they were able to provide her wonderful care and comfort during her transition to end of life. Everyone was wonderful and friendly, the place was clean and cheerful. We had great communication and the place was open for visiting at any time. My mom mentioned she wished she would have allowed us to move her there years before.

Buchanan Meadows hominess feel is just what is missing in so many other assisted living facilities. As soon as you walk in you feel like you're right at home. The staff is always helpful and friendly and everything is clean and fresh smelling. The food at the Meadows is amazing and home cooked. They do their best to accommodate even the pickiest of eaters. The activities are age appropriate and actually things that residents enjoy. Of all the things that I could say about Buchanan Meadows I feel the one that matters the most is the staff truly loves and cares for their residents. They always do their best to care and protect them.

Moving our mother the Buchanan Meadows has been the best decision. She is thriving with the personal care she receives and is happier than she has been in a long time. We cannot say enough good things about Kristin and her entire team.

My grandmother was there, and during my visits it was a lovely place staffed with people you could tell cared about all the residents. They would come to check on her, and tell me wonderful stories about her. Currently my great aunt is under their care, and she's very happy there. I would recommend the Meadows to anyone who wants the best of care for their loved ones.

This place is good for people who still have a lot of freedom and mobility and just need a little help from time to time but not for those who require a greater level of care. The employees are all friendly and seem to care about the residents, but IMO they are just too understaffed to properly care for those who need more help and they do not always communicate or document things as well as they should. We moved my grandma here because she wanted to be back in Buchanan but in hindsight, we think she would have been better off left at West Woods, where there are actual nurses on staff, every little thing is document and she had a roommate for companionship.

I’ve volunteered at Buchanan Meadows through Girl Scouts in the past and it was a very great experience. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was clear they cared very much for the well being and happiness of the residents. We Girl Scouts were very happy to be able to come and sing for and interact with the residents.
