Both of my parents have been in the care of Brookdale for approximately 2 years. I have been very thankful for their hard work and efforts. I have always been greeted with kind and pleasant helpful workers and would highly recommend Brookdale to anyone. Both parents had a strong level of dementia. Dad has sadly passed on now, though mom continues on well during this period of transition. Thank you!

Just want to say that I'm so thankful for Brookdale`s great group of employees, all of them. At this writing I have over 16 months experience with Brookdale as both my parents struggle with dementia. They have all been kind, patient and have kept me well informed through all the ups and downs. I highly recommend Brookdale!

My mother was at Brookdale for her final months battling with cancer. The facilities and staff were very nice. The only problem I have with Brookdale is they seem a bit shady in returning refunds. In the 3 months my mom was there, we paid slightly over $20,000. After my mom had passed and I am finalizing things a couple months later, Brookdale owed about $400 back to us. However, they keep saying they "mailed it" yet I have yet to receive it. I receive all the invoices/bills that go to the same address, yet the check refund...which they claim also was sent to the same address, has not been received. It's been over a month trying to close out my moms account. It is not the money so much that irritates me, it is the principle of the matter... we paid over $20,000 and yet they cannot refund a mere $400? They send the invoices which we receive, and supposedly mailed it at the same time as the last bill, but we received the bill just fine; however not the check. When I called to try and figure out what happened, they kept saying I need to verify the address which I did... (it was the same address they have on file) and they stated they are going to mail it out... which I still have yet to receive (it has been now over another 2 weeks). At this point I am over it, I just want this done and behind me. BUT - I wanted to warn others because that whole ordeal seemed very shady of Brookdale.
