Absolutely a shocking place for a charity shop bought some draws and 2 people were lifting it didn’t even get it out the door before they dropped it and all the draws came out few broke a bit and the hinges came off the bottom of it and has scrapes and ovs it’s gonna cost money to fix it but yet they don’t offer a response refund price and it was the manger who dropped it as well and told me to come back the next day to get some of a refund barely anything off it since the damage they done and to top it off someone off called Kacy working there her attitude stinks and cleraly doesn’t want to be there working terrible won’t be buying from this place again so much hassle ?

Incredibly dishonest staff. After you try to arrange a donation they go to whatever lengths possible to refuse accepting it. No consideration given to disabled people. In the space of 3 phone calls they tried to get me to drop off a piece of furniture myself when they offer the service, then they asked for me to send in photos so they could find a reason to refuse and then called and lied to me directly saying they don’t accept scratched items. When the piece of furniture is in good condition. Lucky to be in a job.

We purchased a lovely oak sideboard and rug from the Motherwell store. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. It was great to be given a delivery time which was met.

We were donating our leather corner suite, the guy that came to take it said they couldn't because of wear and tear, absolutely nothing wrong with it, think it must have been too much much trouble for them

I buy from several BHF charity shops, as it is a charity well worth supporting, but this particular store have on a number of occasions refused items I have donated in good faith, so they can go and raffle their donuts

For anyone looking for a very good standard of home furnishing, BHF are amazing. They deliver and pick up and the staff are amazing.

Good wee spot.
Got a decent Sofa in the clearance section, staff are nice.
Electronics are always overpriced unfortunately.
