The Village Clubhouse is the best place for our kids to be in Carlsbad! It’s the best example of a diverse & inclusive environment , both in terms of the children attending and the staff. The summer, spring and winter programs are affordable and my children have loved all of the fun field trips and opportunities provided. The building is part of the foundation of the City of Carlsbad and I couldn’t be happier with how down-to-earth and committed the supervisors are. My children not only point out and run to say hi to Brince and Abby at the Club, but they also do so when we see them out in public. To me, that shows that the kids really do matter to them. We love the Boys & Girls Club and are looking forward to summer camp!

The Boys and Girls club of Carlsbad Village has been a great place for my kids to be part of. Leadership and staff are amazing and always very supportive. The truly care about all the kids there. My 3 of my kids have all attended since they were 6 years old and are now 10, 8 and 7. Enroll your kids if you're looking for a place to have your kids attended during distance learning or looking for a place to attend after school.

I live in Carlsbad, closer to the Boys & Girls Club/Bressi Ranch location. Although I take my son to the Boys & Girls Club in the Village on Roosevelt in the summer. The staff is very professional. The Director Lori is very nice and very helpful. I've had a great experience 2 years in a row. My son loves it there and they provide lunch. The staff is also very good with my son. Field trips are always fun! Please not this is only for summer though. He is currently attending Boys & Girls Club at Bressi Ranch and will write a review for the Bressi Ranch location as well.

They are over worked, understaffed and underappreciated. Many staff have to make up there own activities to entertain kids with very little itinerary. One staff member is gone because during a fire drill the kids didn't get out at a certain time even though the staff had 7 kids more than legally should and kids don't like to listen to young college 20 year olds. Parents pay a lot of money so their kids be safe and healthy environment. Very disappointed with the Boys and Girls

More camp activities and quality field trips than any other Boys and Girls Clubs that I know of, in all of California. Great payment options too so, if you're family income is low, they will figure out a way to accommodate your needs and help with your children.

The camps are ok, but the staff are terrible. They always yell at the kids for nothing. The middle schoolers are forced to be at the park near by and we pay almost $200 per week for the summer camp, $50 for Annual Fee, $150 per month for the school year, and $110 per month for transportation. What a waste of money. I think this high school program is free, but I'm not sure.
