Not at all special needs friendly. They just yell at the kids non stop. Making children with sensory sensitivities very uncomfortable. Their website says that they can make reasonable accommodations for children with special needs since they are a publicly funded program program. But when asked to accommodate any special needs such as even putting the beanbag chairs out that they have or allowing spaces for children to unwind after a long school day they will not they just say it’s not safe and someone’s going to run all over them. They would rather kick the children with special needs out of the program, then accommodate them. Every child, I know a special needs has been suspended and expelled from that program they would yell at my son just for laying down saying it was unsafe where other programs understand that he’s tired after school and give him a place to lay down. Do not send your children there if they have any kind of sensitivities. They are also charging for busing from the schools to the program while the PSUSD is busing the children there for free . what an unethical program

This is a great after school program. If you are a working mom and still need a couple more hours after school of supervision for your kids, this is perfect and very affordable and almost every elementary and middle school have a bus schedule to take them. There now is an app you download to communicate faster in emergencies. They provide snacks if needed and everyday is different whether it's an art class, gym class, or a field trip or they can choose to have free time and they provide an hour for homework.

I have witnessed girls behind the desk contact the police on a poor girl who is attempting to acquire money by pan handling.
Already being judged negatively by the community this girl was not harming anyone was not within 100 yards of this established community youth center.
She was simply asking people for help if they were able to provide it.
The employee's at the club continuously contacted the police informing them that she was under age and in need of help.
When informed this WAS NOT the case they continue to utilize it as an excuse for contacting police and wasting their time and resources.
If someone's property or life happen to be taken while these girls are wasting the officers time I would hope they feel a measure of responsibility knowing it was their call that kept the officers from truly helping people in need.

Great place for kids. My daughter loves it. Lots of kids to make friends with and friendly staff. They even pick up from public school and bring back to their facility.
