I’ve had some time to process and decide what I’ve wanted to share. My loved one was a resident here over a year ago. At first the staff were kind and caring, but after my loved one moved to memory care it all changed. Some issues I understand and don’t fault the staff for, such as items being taken from his room by other residents. But what is unacceptable is the lack of care given. My loved one was dirty, his room was dirty, he would have dried food stuck in his beard. Staff gave him the wrong insulin dose, they failed to inform us when he was running low on medication supplies, it goes on. I witnessed a resident fall, I could not find any staff member right away and when I finally did, she was coming out of the restroom and was irritated that the resident fell and she had to help her up. Don’t let the pretty surroundings and sales person, with their amazing sales pitch, fool you. This place is bad.

I had the opportunity to take a tour of Bickford of Saginaw today. I have to say that this is the cleanest, most home like assisted living facility I have ever been in, The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. My tour guide Mellisa explained all of Bickford of Saginaw‘s features, and I was even introduced to some lovely Bickford residents. Thank you Bickford for your outstanding care you provide every single day.

Hailey is super professional, dedicated, loving, and the most caring team member! She goes above and beyond each day and treats each person like it's her own family! She will do whatever it takes to make you feel at home! I highly recommend this place to anyone .

After visiting several Assisted Living Homes in the area, we chose Bickford The staff treat our mom like family with so much care, compassion, respect, and kindness. The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming. Bickford is beautifully decorated, the food is comforting and delicious, the facilities are relaxing and always extremely clean. We are so blessed to have become part of the Bickford Family!

My grandmother lived there and it truly felt like this building took advantage of her in every way they could. Especially since grandma had memory issues and could not advocate for herself. Multiple times they would not give medicine that was needed and her room was filthy unless we cleaned it ourselves. There is no accountability with staff or system to track who has done what. So nothing gets done.

A few caring staff Lots of people who don’t care about your loved one. Mom went without her meds countless times. Don’t let them pull from your account. There balance is always wrong and you can’t get it back, even when they know it’s their error.
