A massive crowd is gathering to enjoy authentic Thai food cooked outside at the temple. Vegetarian/vegan food is available. Lunch is offered every Sunday from 10am to 1pm. The temple is open too for meditation and education into Zen Buddhism. Come on over to discuss enlightenment and have a bite to eat. Located next door to Tarea Hall Pittman Library on MLK Jr Way. The temple owns a giant courtyard spanning an acre with koi in outdoor tanks. It's cash only, you buy tokens from the cashiers to redeem for food and drinks. The crowd is easily 300 people today. These are the vegan menu items:
Tofu Yellow Curry
Pumpkin Kabocha
Eggplant Basil
Green Beans
Pad Thai
Note: All the vegan menu items include tofu
