My wife and I came to Cayucos for our anniversary, and after arriving to town a bit late, and unpacking our things, we felt like getting a beer or glass of wine to wind down. We are SO GLAD we found this little gem and decided to try it!

We were instantly impressed by the welcoming atmosphere. We were served by Bruce, the owner, who was very friendly and professional, and keeps an impressively clean and organized space, which is a huge plus for many. He is a really cool guy with a neat story(and gave us anniversary cupcakes), and had great recommendations for other things to do in the area, particularly, wineries and dining. The wine selection here is versatile and tasty, the beer is fresh and ice cold, and the food he made us(Chicago dog and charcuterie) was delicious.

The hometown bar I want near me. The sweetest people that bring the community, and everyone who wants to be a part of it, together. Since they don't have a full liquor licence, they didn't have a large selection, but it's enough and the quality they do have is great. I do have to agree with the locals that their pretzel was phenomenal.

Best place for views of the waves, good selection of beers and wine. The cheese for the pretzel is liquid gold! Jena and Bruce are amazing people. Highly recommend coming before sunset and sitting outside on the dog friendly balcony (with purse and bag hooks). If lucky, you might see a dolphin pod or whales swimming out there. Small place but the locals are friendly and I just moved here a few months ago and it reminds me of my local bar from tahoe.

We’re in town for the weekend, staying in Morro Bay. We wanted to try something new and drive around to find ourselves a place to watch the 2nd game in the World Series. (Go dodgers)
We stumbled upon the absolute best place. Upon walking in we quickly noticed the atmosphere. Everyone was upbeat and just kind. We met the owner Bruce, such a great guy!!! We will be back everytime we come to town. Such a great find!

If I could give more stars I would. The drinks are fantastic, but what really sells this place is the service. Bruce, the owner, is so accommodating, friendly, and best all around conversationalist. The pretzel here is phenomenal

Came there on my birthday in July and they were sweet and gave me a drink on the house. I've been wanting to go here since they opened up and we finally were able to come back to Cayucos this year and check it out(we live 4 hours away)! Loved listening to the stories from the regulars of how fun it is. We'll definitely be back next summer!

We wandered down the street to Beach Bums today in Cayucos and met the owner Bruce and a slew of other fun regulars that made our night. This is a cool wine/beer bar with an amazing ocean view from the patio and an owner that loves his customers and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. If you’re in Cayucos I highly recommend stopping in here! You won’t be disappointed!
