The women’s clinic male doctor prescribed me wrong medications! My baby could’ve died because I was never treated with correct medication! I moved to Missouri & the nurses told me I had no reason to have the meds they gave me from the looks of my medical records! & a nurse there called me about a month later and told me they made a mistake and I was actually diagnosed with cystic fibrosis :0 I’m glad I moved out of Corpus… that’s supposed to be the best cc hospital smh

So apparently they only help out people whom are in an intimate relationships being abused. Not people who are getting abused by their own family in the same household. Getting threatened so badly. Mentally torn down all day every day. Threatened that I’m going to get murdered but apparently it’s not enough for this place to help.

I received really negative and nasty attitudes when I donated some of my belongings. They make it seem like a good samaritan deed is a huge inconvenience. If this is the way they treat people intending to help out, I can only imagine how they treat the women living there. I’ll be donating my things to Goodwill from now on.

Commenting behind a Google account, my kids use on TikTok because I do not wish to reveal my identity. If you need to live here my advice is chess not checkers. Be careful how u portray yourself to these people because they will treat u as such. The minute they see u as vulnerable, boom. Your worth goes down the toilet here. I watched them treat several clients terribly. I've heard them gossip about clients behind their backs. Tracy or w/e her name is (thin, brow hair, blunt cut) uses her authority as a ego boost. Inez has little to no respect for anyone treats/talks to clients as if they are burdens. Often was seen rolling her eyes at ppl. I watched these ppl put a family on 3 (2 week) quarantines back to back then kick them out because mom paid a friend to bring ordered food after Tracy failed to make sure they got trays at their room. The girl had 3 babies (Also the family came from 2 cities away to be here) I watched them kick someone out for refusing to do 3 days worth of dishes that had piled up the girl worked 16hr shifts & got off at midnight. They kept putting her chore as dishes. She asked to be put on something else. They refused. Favoritism exists among staff/clients. Don't expect to be able to vent to anyone. There are ppl who will steal your things & nothing will be done about it. Donations are picked thru before given to clients

You're strong enough to make it without these people because they don't care as much as they say they do. Staff needs to be reevaluated. The best thing about this place is a comfortable room to sleep in but that's about it. My life went from hell to literally living a nightmare. Being here brought out a heavily depressed side of me for sure. I came here believing I finally had a chance to turn my life around & they were here to support me. By the time I left I'd never felt so defeated. I was devastated, I opened up to these ppl. I trusted these ppl & they just constantly treated myself & my kids like we didn't matter. It felt emotionally like I was still with my abuser. Highly disappointed. I described the attitude of SOME STAFF as "This is just my job, I'm just here to do my shift & go home". Good luck
