Beautiful, clean building with a few businesses and seating.

There are six levels, including the basement. The businesses here include Bank of the West, Cal Student Store, Amazon Hub+, and ReUse. This building connects to Eshleman Hall with a skybridge. The balcony provides nice views of the plaza below. There are stairs and elevators to get you from level to level.

Most non-students will be visiting for Amazon Hub+, which has tables for opening packages, free samples, and a counter if you need a human to help.

The Student Union at UC Berkeley is surprisingly underwhelming for such a prestigious institution. The building feels outdated and lacks the vibrant energy you would expect from a central student hub. The interior is often crowded, and it’s difficult to find a quiet place to study or relax. The dining options are limited and overpriced, with long lines that can be frustrating during peak hours. The overall upkeep of the space seems neglected, with cleanliness being a recurring issue. For a facility meant to serve as the heart of campus life, it feels more like a basic, uninspired space that doesn’t live up to the university’s reputation.

Beautiful new and updated building, it's clean and good place for students. They have free games on the first floor to play. It's in the downtown area so free parking is a dream, but there is plenty of paid parking in the garage.

It's a nice place with a student store and a bank. There's a community piano just outside that I love hearing people play.

Venue was great. Got a little sweaty due to lack of A/C. If you happen to visit on a Cal Football game day though, skip it. I got towed despite parking legally and feeding the meter. And all the vacant spots look like a racket when you see the prices of the lots they funnel you into: $15 a day regularly, but $45/day on game days.

Great study area with a cafe at it's center!!
Also, living in Berkeley, we all know about package thieves and crowded mailrooms. Why go through that!? The Amazon hub at this location is super convenient and you'll know your packages will be safe.

A beautiful new building. Very spacious and clean. Lira of study space and outlets, but almost always busy with students. Very difficult to find a place to sit. They have equator coffee upstairs and a few other food places downstairs. (True Blue, Asado, etc.)

I study here a lot. Bottom floor is a little bit loud and it gets quite busy sometimes but overall nice study space.
