I recently stumbled upon the Assistance League in Fullerton and let me tell you, it's like finding a thrift store run by a team of super-friendly, do-gooder superheroes! First off, the place is so clean you could eat off the floor - if you were into that sort of thing, which, let's be honest, who isn't after a good thrift store rummage?
The volunteers? Absolute gems. They greeted me like I was a long-lost cousin at a family reunion where everyone actually likes each other. I swear, one lady was so sweet, I half-expected her to bake me cookies on the spot. And the selection! I found a dinosaur pancake mold from Williams-Sonoma for 50 cents - my breakfasts just got a Jurassic upgrade!
But here's the real kicker: every penny you spend here goes back into the community. They're like the Robin Hood of Fullerton, except instead of stealing from the rich, they're just really good at thrift-shopping and giving back. They help kids with school clothes, seniors with meals, and families in need during the holidays. It's like shopping with a conscience, where your wallet feels good and your heart does too.
So, if you're looking for a place where you can find cool stuff, meet the friendliest humans on earth, and feel like you've done something good, the Assistance League in Fullerton is your spot. Just watch out for the vintage VHS tapes - they might just convince you to start a '90s movie night club. Five stars, would thrift again

This thrift store is great! Great prices and good stuff! The only thing that really brings it down is that some of the volunteers are old, insensitive, grumpy ladies and don't keep in mind the mission of the assistance league, they need to remember what the assistance league for 80 years is about helping! I would recommend keeping the rude Old Ladies in the back if they can't be nice to people, and keeping all the rest of the great volunteers in the front. Also the no stroller policy is very upsetting to new parents shopping for a deal as you drink or walk here only to have to leave because you have a baby, besides all that I love coming here.

Nicest ladies in the whole wide world! We love coming here, everything is well organized and clean. They make you feel at home as soon as you walk in and someone is always ready to help. Seriously love everyone who works there they are lovely and you can tell they are happy to be there and always have a smile on their faces. I highly recommend this thrift store to anyone and everyone!! You ladies are the BEST!!

I have been giving things to this assistance league for close to 20 years now and that day has come to an end today because of a very rude old lady who came out and rudely scolded me and said I parked too close to the gas meter!!! I was dropping off 13 huge bags of really good dresses and clothing from Nordstrom, Ann Taylor etc. and she has the gall to call me out on that when there is a red metal guard rail right in front of the gas meter so there’s no way I did any damage to anything. How petty. From now on, I give my things to the Salvation Army. One extremely rude person, ruined it for me. Their loss!

Came here to just see what this place has to offer after someone at a Goodwill approached us about how splendid this place is. So after coming here we were not underwhelmed at here word-of-mouth review.

The people here I believe are volunteers and help operate the store during business hours. They were nice and courteous, and even offered discounts to people to needed it.

The merchandise here, like all thrifts stores, are donated. Most of the items here were of good quality, and they offer an assortment of things. They have a corner for higher quality goods for the Women's clothing. They have glass cases for all the jewelry, bags, and other accessories. They have household items and decor in the back. When I came in, they also had a cat tunnel toy that was recently donated.

All in all, this a great place to support as they do more than operate a thrift store. Assistance League helps with community actions, like school assistance, fund-raisers, and other means to develop their community into a more hospitable one.

They have a wide selection of anything from fine china to bras and underwear, organized well by category. Staff are friendly and easy to park at a convenient location. The prices are much lower than other thrift stores, which I believe is the way it should be since all of the merchandise were donated. I donate here instead of Goodwill and other places, because I think this place is actually doing good to the neighborhood.

It was amazing, I once came here to buy gifts for Father’s Day and also for my sisters birthday and basically all of the workers helped me pick out a gift, gift bag, gift card, everything! I now come here every week because of all of the cool things I find for example this official Olaf plushie:
