Some of these reviews on here are so wrong. For example speaking about bad language like if it's out of control here, not true at all. My 2 kids have been coming here for 3 years and I think only once I've ever over heard a kid in the upper grade cuss near me. Trust me if you walk Into any Fresno Unified School you would be horrified to hear the language and see the behavior of all kinds of disrespectful kids. I've seen it, even in the younger grades. I can speak to this having already raised two kids who are now adults in different Fresno Unified Schools. This school is definitely a better experience for your kid then sending them to the school in your neighborhood that's assigned to you with the exception of maybe a few I know of that are decent. Charter and private schools are the way to go period If you live in Fresno. Another option would be home schooling if you dont want your kid to experience bad languauge and inappropriate things from other school children. This school isn't perfect but it beats my assigned neighborhood school that's for sure. I also appreciate how they always communicate with me quickly over any issue.

I have not made my overall decision to keep my daughter here. I am greatly disappointed at the lack of discipline used with some of these extremely challenged children. Where there is usually a zero policy for violence, this school is choosing an alternative method however it doesn't seem to be very effective. They do not uphold their own dress code and behavior policies and I am greatly disappointed. My daughter literally cries every day and expresses great anguish to attend. I feel horrible dropping her off. The flip side is that she is doing wonderful in the classroom. Academics is what brought us here but it will be the atmosphere of fear, lack of discipline, and inconsistency in upholding their own policies that will ultimately drive us away.

You’re a horrible parent if you bring your kids here. Most of the kids here are troublemakers parents send here because they think it will make them behave and that leads to a much hire percentage of bad kids who are going to bully your child, cause distractions in class, and make everything harder for the good kids. The staff is more concerned with dress code than actually protecting the kids who are getting beat up and made fun of and they are all old, extremely judgmental Christians with a backwards agenda.

My daughter started in Tk and now she's in 4th grade, if you want your baby's to grow in a safe environment with teacher's that really care about the children future I would highly recommend Aspen valley prep, is a small school that makes it feel comfortable you really get to know the all the stuff in general.

This is a very bad school, I’ve been here ever since kindergarten it was a good school ever since I hit 3 grade there teaching isn't great and the website they use (summit learning) isn’t helping only bringing people Down on grades your parents won’t believe unless they see bullying isn’t common but bad language is and other inappropriate stuff I would not recommend this school for any age. (Also there food isn’t good ether)

This school was way too strict. They didn't let you be different then everyone else. I admit they had good intentions but did not carry it out well.This is just a basic cookie- cutter school. The curriculum was ahead grade level and was hard to follow and most of the staff was very rude.
