I love that they are helping the community, but we have gotten food poisoning multiple times just in the last month from their food. Myself (pregnant), my husband, my roommate, and my toddler. This is very dangerous of the unborn baby. If you are pregnant or have a compromised immune system (which my husband and roommate do not) please be careful accepting their perishables. There are not many other options for pregnant people.

I am going to the food bank on this day and find book that surprise! I find “The Official Polish Joke Book.” Is very very bad book is this. Terrible stereotip about dirty Polack and stupid Polack! I am very offense! My family is starvation in Poland before we arrive to Ashland. We are working hard we not deserving for this disrespect, I am very surprise and offense! I am think people in Ashland vote Bernie Sanders is not have racism. Bernie Sanders is not knowing of this racist book. Here is one terible “joke”:

Nevr I am going to this plase in the next month. Do you think Polish lives not matter? I am disgust with this plase. I want complaint, who should I complaint for? Apparatchik Pam Marsh? Is needing to drane the Marsh? I AM OFFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!

The people volunteering are so helpful. The food is abundant and often there are organic options. The free table is available 4 times a month and full shops available twice a month. The community, local business and local farmers all donate here. The variety and quality make this one of the nation's best food bank. You have to have a Jackson county address which makes it better for locals but not great for out of towners.. but they do have a little something for even the people not living around here

The Ashland Food Bank is the best! Bring your own bags for extra freebies. They serve Talent and Ashland, providing the option for fresh fruit and veggies, not just canned, and local farmers donate tons of produce during the summer. You get a little bit of everything at the Ashland Food Bank, I am so grateful for the excellent service they provide (did I mention the volunteers are amazing!).

Ashland food bank is an incredible asset and I am so grateful for them. My family wouldn’t eat if it weren’t for this place. I love that you get to shop( or pick your own food stuffs), which is awesome and less wasteful, Unlike some other food pantries that package you up a bag/box of groceries and send you on your way. They do holiday boxes as well as monthly shopping. Ashland would be failing it’s lower income families without this awesome resource and I hope it continues to help feed Ashland. A+

I have been going here off and on for years mostly on Wednesday and the staff is absolutely wonderful, sweet, caring, willing to help you out in any way they can they will help you find you find resources that you normally don't don't know about! Even during this Covid 19 they have been spectacular! I totally appreciate every one of them!!
