I would be cautious and know that you need to trust your gut-don’t make the same mistakes I did by actually believing things will be done as discussed. I didn’t want to be the annoying daughter and I trusted them (more than one time to do right and do what they said they would do)…can’t change our outcome (loss of our father and my mother’s soulmate of over 64 years) but hopefully you can have a happy ending-loved one comes home.

This place is absolute hell, and Morgan the social worker is a horrible excuse for a social worker, she needs to be fired. That place should be shut down, seriously the worst my family was not given water, didn't put clock in room ,call light intentionally put behind bed, daily when i would go check in,wrong dates kept on white board all this w confused patients, food trays often dont arrive, did i mention they never kept water by bed? Sadly a dog pound treats animals better so patients can't get help, discharge a joke

The nursing staff are extremely understaffed, before they had 4-5 CNA’s per station now it’s way less. I’d say about half. A lot of CNA’s are quitting or not showing up. They are running on the California minimum help per patient. Nursing to patient ratio is off. You think with all the help leaving someone in upper management would staff the facility properly. Someone is getting a bonus if they are saving the company money on staffing and it’s apparent. Patient care/employee mental health is more important than your bonus. #selfish

I was there for 3 month's after a brief stay at the hospital from braking my knee. I had my ups and down's with some of the staff. They work their ass off trying to make the patients as comfortable as possible.

I had a family member admitted here after back surgery. I would not recommend this place for rehabilitation. Do not bring your loved ones here! My family member had multiple symptoms of over medicating- delusional, paranoia, anxiety, etc. which he had not experienced before being admitted here. My first visit, I was met with the most incompetent staff- BOTH on their phones, not even a glance up to acknowledge someone standing right in front of them. I go into his room and there’s spilled milk on the ground that looked hours old, he had spilled water all over his table and on himself, which was all over his table and body. There was literal trash on and around the place. I had waited around to see if a nurse would eventually come by but instead was met with his physical therapist. Cool, he’s in here for post op back surgery. He had been in here for a week and this lady gave me zero insight on anything regarding him. Couldn’t even explain why he was wearing a neck brace. Don’t you think after a week of seeing him you would have any kind of knowledge of your patient, especially what the deal is with this brace Nope. Apparently he was receiving physical therapy 4 times a week, what about the other three? Who knows. The recover time for his surgery is about 4 weeks, here we are two months in and he is sent to enloe for an untreated UTI which lowered his blood pressure to dangerous levels. Fortunately he’s in good care at enloe and is coherent enough to communicate after weeks at this facility, living in a medicated delusion. This is ABUSE! How this place is in operation is beyond me. All of these one star reviews are real, there are so many red flags ranging from the staff all the way down to the food. PLEASE DON’T LEAVE LOVED ONES HERE!

I wanted to share an experience I had towards the end. My Dad was at Arbor for a handful of months before he passed. On my visits from San Diego, I was lucky enough to spend time with 3 special folks.

We met Dusty, the Administrator, randomly and we all hit it off. He made a connection with my Dad and our family, he cared about what we were going through and helped us in many ways. Victoria, the Assistant Director of Nursing, went above and beyond for us on many levels. She would text me positive updates and pics because she knew I was worried about my Dad and that I didn’t live in the same city. And Jen is the Social Services Director. I met her a few times, was always so impressed and she was the one who held up the phone to my Dad’s ear so I could say goodbye to him.

All 3 are young professionals holding such important positions and I have so much respect for each of them. I definitely couldn’t do what they do and I’m so grateful that they were there for us. Of course I’m Facebook friends with the girls now and it’s nice keeping in touch with them that way.

Horrible, awful place to take someone that you love. No one, including nurses, will pick up the phone. My husband is there right now after having knee surgery. He's been trying to be released for days. I have tried everything that I know to reach someone to help, but no love. If you value your family member, do NOT let them be admitted to this place. My husband isn't incapacitated mentally, only recovering from a surgery. The isn't adequate nutrition. And they have one nurse for every l8 patients, so one has to wait for at least 45 minutes to get a nurse in after pushing a nurse request button. I am so angry and frustrated!

Tonight my partner and I were taking a walk and we found one of their elderly patients disoriented and confused wondering around lost. He could have very easily been injured as he almost fell into the road many times. When we tried calling the facility no one answered the phone and we tried all the nursing stations. Luckily, we were able to call the non-emergency line and got him a ride back. I just find it completely disgusting and irresponsible that a care facility would let this happen. Please be careful when placing your loved ones in this facilities care.
