You know, I never really wanted to comment this but as time passes and I mention it to more people. I feel the need to mention how I have applied for this place twice and interviewed both times. With the qualifications and availability, only to be met with “Why do you keep applying”, and the strange sense my identity is the reason I am being denied. Cause gay people are fine to old people… god forbid it be a trainee though. Anyway, yeah, no I literally was told in an interview “Why do you keep trying”, and had to deal with the weird and honestly kinda toxic energy of the front office lady, and the main coordinator. Do better frankly, truly, stand by your beliefs and values of community and inclusion to the differently abled. Is this place trans friendly? Not in my experience, and that’s the tea.

I was shocked to find a record with a WHITE man in BLACK FACE being sold at this thrift store. The amount of ignorance to think this is okay to have in your stock for sale is inconceivable. The area this store is located in is predominantly retired old white people so it’s not hard to see why they’d have it in stock. This is absolutely upsetting. I gave it to the cashier to be taken down and had to explain why it was wrong to have that racist imagery in their business. Not a good look whatsoever but very telling of what that business is about. Disgusting.

First, I called and let it ring for about 15 rings, and no one answered. Then about an hour later, I tried again, and someone answered. I wanted to know what their books cost because I’m about 25 minutes away and didn’t know if I wanted to come in. I was told “I can’t tell you that information over the phone”

I go to thrift stores for a living so literally I’ve called over 500 and never have been told that. What a terrible rule that would push customers away. Why would you not let a potential customer know information they want to know? Absolutely ridiculous policy.

Worst experience ever, they have all of their clothes put together by color not size… as a bigger person it really sucked to be like oh this is pretty but not my size over and over and over. Don’t bother coming here if you are over a medium

The staff there didn’t have good customer service. I felt treated really poorly and felt as if me and my girlfriend had such a horrible experience for just wanting to shop. Such a disrespect to your customers. Will not be coming again.
