Our visit was great on Friday!
There was a meat raffle at 6, had dinner and stayed for Rock Star Karaoke --- so fun!
Entertainment, food and service were all excellent!!

The one-star rating isn't for the food, it's for the service. To celebrate cooperative month with Crow Wing Power, my dad, friend and I attended the "Member Appreciation Pancake Breakfast" with hopes of good food and service. My dad is an Air Force veteran and he wore his veteran cap depicting this. Not ONE person thanked him for his service. My dad told me that it was the worst set-up for breakfast he had ever seen. He had to hunt one of the volunteers down and ask them to serve us. We had to wait 45 minutes until we were served breakfast! We were only served two pancakes and two sausages each. When I asked one of the cooks about seconds, she explained to me that everyone must be served first, but I explained to her that we were served last. This was not the right and respectful way to treat a veteran and members of Crow Wing Power. The experience was so poor, I didn't want to stay for seconds and wanted to leave. Was the food good? Yes. Was the service good? No. They should have served buffet style to keep things easy and in order. I waited months for this event, only to be disappointed.

Always a great place to go for a daily special from the kitchen or anything else in the menu. Staff is friendly, courteous and helpful.

On this particular day I attended a memorial service with my best friend for members lost, which included my mother. Very tastefully and respectably done.

Kudos to the Brainerd Post for their excellence, whether for an event or to just grab a bite to eat, you, your friends and family will always feel welcomed.
